This tool serves as an interface to bulk import / edit / export user waypoint and flight plan files to/from IDU-series avionics. Other than manually hand-jamming one waypoint at a time directly into the IDU- or into their PC trainer software (which takes forever and invites the opportunity for fat-finger errors), Genesys Aerosystems (at least to my knowledge) does not provide any method to automate this process. This tool is primarily a data-converter and validator (not flight-planning software) intended to save my brother and sister pilots some time. Safe flying.
Pre-Flight Data Prep:
1. Select a file (Genesys DAT/RTE, ForeFlight FPL, Garmin WPT, CSV/KML) or paste data.
2. Parser normalizes: DD (35.1234), DDM (35° 07.40' N), DMS (35° 07' 24" N).
3. Verify the table and export.
