Genesys IDU Waypoint and Route Tools

This tool serves as an interface to bulk import / edit / export user waypoint and flight plan files to/from IDU-series avionics. Other than manually hand-jamming one waypoint at a time directly into the IDU- or via the PC-based EFIS Training Tool software (both of which take forever and invite the opportunity for fat-finger errors), Genesys Aerosystems does not provide any method (that I know of) to automate this process. Functions below are primarily data-converters and validators (not flight-planning software) intended to help ensure that the waypoint sets loaded into your IDU- series avionics are as error-free (e.g. SAFE) as possible. Pre-Flight Data Prep:
1. Select a file (Genesys .DAT/RTE, ForeFlight .FPL, Garmin .WPT, .CSV/.KML) or bulk paste data.
2. Parser normalizes: DD (35.1234), DDM (35° 07.40' N), DMS (35° 07' 24" N).
3. Verify the table and/or preview your waypoints on the map, then export to your desired format.
